Program Details:
- Paid national training wage 38 hours, 5 days per week for 18 weeks
- Gain ‘greening’ experience working on restoration & rehabilitation at Dogs Queensland’s showground in Durack
- Study native plants, eco-system & conservation techniques
- Develop Skills in the safe use of hand tools, petrol driven equipment and herbicides
- All PPE provided
- White Card, Senior First Aid Training, *ACDC (Chemical Spraying Cert)
- Job Readiness Training & employability skill development
Program Description:
To apply applicants must be:
- 16 years or older
- No longer attending school
- Not currently enrolled in accredited training
- Be a permanent Queensland resident or on a pathway to residency
- Must not have previously participated in a Skilling Queenslanders for Work Programme
