Our Food Co-op was established 10 years ago in response to community members and families struggling to put food on their table. The Food Co-op aims to provide the community with a range of general groceries to personal care items. Simply pay an annual membership fee to have access all year round.

belong’s community-based English language classes delivered from the Acacia Ridge Community Centre offer a vital opportunity for learners of all ages to practice their English and make connections in a safe, friendly and welcoming setting.
We engage an average of 15 learners a week each year across 100 hours of free tuition.
Supporting community members with their preparations to apply for Australian Citizenship.
The program assists migrant settlers to develop their understanding of Australian history, culture, civics, rights, responsibilities and the democratic process. On average, 15 people participate in these free classes each week.
Our Citizenship Classes are designed to support people who are preparing to apply for Australian Citizenship. The program guides people through the various topics that are part of the test.

After an affordable space to host your next meeting, social gathering, class or workshop? At belong we have 2 main venue spaces located at Acacia Ridge and Moorooka. Both locations also offer smaller spaces perfect for meetings and small gatherings.
Supporting those in our community with financial crisis
Our Emergency relief program supports individuals and families experiencing acute financial crisis due to unexpected circumstances. Our service covers a wide area including Brisbane South and Ipswich regions.

Belong’s community worker is here to help you find the supports you need to address specific issues affecting your life. Connect with your Community Worker by appointment, or by dropping in to the Acacia Ridge Community Centre from 9am-2pm, Monday to Friday.
