BRIEF INTERVENTION (FINANCIAL) WORKER POSITION
Description:
belong operates the Acacia Ridge Community Centre, a vibrant and busy neighbourhood centre with strong connections to the diverse local communities. belong has been operating since 1989, offering a values-based, family-friendly place of employment.
The Brief Intervention Worker is a new position at belong. The Worker will follow relevant policy and procedures to distribute Emergency Relief resources to people in times of financial crisis. Access to Emergency Relief is considered universal and is a safety net for people experiencing financial distress or hardship and who have limited means of resources to help them alleviate their financial crisis.
